Maybe the Central Cal BMW Riders have found the Motherlode? Join us on
October 20, 2019 to find out!!
Join your fellow Central Cal riders for a trip back in time on October 20, 2019 (Sunday) when our October ride will take us to Columbia State Park. Located in the heart of the California Mother Lode, Columbia State Historic Park is a living gold rush town featuring the largest single collection of existing gold rush-era structures in the state.
Our visit to Columbia is like traveling back in time to the sights, smells, and sounds of a nineteenth century mining town—merchants dressed in 1850’s attire, a whiff of coal smoke from the blacksmith shop, and the rumble of a stagecoach pulling into town! You can spend the day enjoying fun activities for the whole family. Pan for gold, explore exhibits, ride the stagecoach, discover unique shops, and learn about the rich history of the California gold rush on a guided town tour.
When: Sunday October 20, 2019
Where to Meet Up: 8;30 am at Starbuck’s in Manteca at 129 S. Union Road, Manteca, CA 95337. We
will leave Starbucks at 9:00 am to try and get to Columbia for the 11 am guided town tour.
