CCBR Last Sunday Ride to Pigeon Point Lighthouse

  • April 29, 2012
  • 9:30 AM
  • Tunitas Creek Road @ Skyline Blvd. (7 miles South of Hwy 92)

The Last Sunday Ride for April will take us to Pigeon Point Lighthouse. We will begin the ride on Tunitas Creek Road where it intersects with Skyline Blvd. 7 miles South of Hwy 92. We will beging the ride at 9:30 am sharp. Show up with a full tank of gas early so we can leave on time. The ride begins at the large blacktop area alongside the road. Ther are no amenities here, so be sure to take care of business before you arrive. There is gas at Alice's Resturaunt down the road a bit, so plan accordingly. The route is 55 miles long with a lot of tight, twisty roads.

I've never been to Pigeon Point Lighthouse, so I don't know what to expect. I would imagin we can take a tour or just stop and walk around a bit. The ride will continue to our lunch stop at Alice's Resturante.

This is a fair weather ride only. If it looks like a drop will fall between my house and the start point, the ride will be canceled. The roads we are going on have a lot of debris and are very twisty and damp.

Below you can click the links and download a Garmin gdp file for your GPS and the ride directions in a PDF format. We are using the March links for the April ride.
